What brand and where did you get it? I'm impressed that you hooked up the slider and rear doors too. I'm not concerned about theft of the vehicle (I'd get LoJack if I was}, it's the deterrent factor I'm after to keep punks from stealing stuff from the van, a very common activity these days. I need the sound to do that!! Thanks! I've installed a generic alarm / central locking kit, with a remote fob. I've wired up the cut out to the fuel pump, so a potential thief will run the battery flat, rather than realise there's an immobiliser. I picked up a sliding door connector from EBay so the slider has central locking (needed relays, as the controller wasn't sending enough power to trigger it properly), and I've wired the rear servo up as a remote trunk release. No siren wired up to the alarm, as they just annoy people from what I've seen :o) I did have a friend suggest I install the siren, then put in a switch for it, but I've had other things to do. toodle pip, -- Dug Smith | Terry Pratchett: It's almost (mailto:dug@dugbert.com) | impossible to ride a rock and roll (http://www.dugbert.com) | motorbike and stay on for three verses. |
