I heard a fellow going by the moniker BenT is based out of San Francisco.

There's a giant Coca Cola bottle shaped play structure but it's inside AT&T Park. You can see the Golden Gate & Bay Bridges from several vantage points. Find the geographical center of SF on Grandview Ave & Alvarado. Drive through the crookedest street which is not the pretty Lombard St but rather Vermont St behind 'hospital curve' of US-101. See the house from the movie 'Pacific Heights' on Texas St & 19th St. Also the hotel where Jimi Hendrix used to play in '65. The same former hotel which was in the movie 'Foul Play'. Corner on Mississippi St & Mariposa. Then drive over the route(s) that Steve McQueen took in the original 'Bullitt'. Don't forget to take a picof your Vanagon driving through the arch gate of Chinatown on Bush & Grant St.

Too much to see. So little time.

BenT sent from my electronic leash

I would like to also know if anyone is aware of any roadside attractions (giant ketchup bottle, huge ball of aluminum foil, etc.) on my route.
