Leaking injectors can also cause hard start problems as the engine can be flooded after a short shut down. Testing fuel pressure during strt up and after shut down can help reveal this problem along with testing-inspecting the injectors.

Hi All, I have been away from the group for a while. Now I'm working on the van again.

My problem is that my 84 Vanagon runs great, but when I stop it just doesn't want to start again. It will eventually start if I wait long enough. I recently replaced the temp sensor and the wire going to the sensor. I think it's getting spark. The problem seems to be in the fuel side.

I would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Also, I have forgotten how to access the archives so I would appreciate that information also.

George 84
