That 6LB Aluminum Cylinder looks great for us with non-Westies or Weekenders. I'm thinking a releasable way to mount it under the van, out of the sun, would be a great, safe set-up. Perhaps a pain to hook-up at the campsite with it mounted there though. But, I'm not keen on a clyinder that big inside the van, on top of the van, or mounted to a rear carrier, although plenty of domestic vans used to mount them in the rear. Any thoughts on mounting possibilities. John David wrote Here is a 6 lb version of the Manchester idea. I did find one place that is a retailer for Manchester that popped up in my search for the 1 lb refillable tank but nothing that shows a price and an online way to buy it. I might go for this one, even though it is more than a used Westy tank would cost. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004FPZABK/ref=asc_df_B004FPZABK1871320?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=nextagus0019627-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B004FPZABK |
