Walter-- Nice work on getting those bolts out! Good to hear the job is moving forward. Just for a laugh when I did the water pump in my 1.9L I bought it from the authorized VW dealer because I wanted a well-made German part instead of the Italian made after-market GRAF brand water pump. The water pump from VW was of course Genuine VW and had a sticker on it that read, "Made in Italy."
