Boy I sure don't want to do THAT again. Heater box opened, flaps tinkered with. New blower motor installed. New heater core installed. Wiper running gear lubed. Grounding stars cleaned, dialectrically greased. Additional cigar lighter outlets (3) installed. Everything put together, with much puzzlage over what hooks to what. Power applied, all the bits seem to work. If anyone can think of anything else I should have done -- just keep it to yourself. I'm not going back in unless something is broke. Thanks to all for tips, etc. -- Jack "Rocket j Squirrel" Elliott Bend, Ore. 1984 Westfalia. A poor but proud people. 1971 "Ladybug"-brand utility trailer ca. 1972 from a defunct company in San Clemente, Calif., now repurposed as The Westrailia. |
