I just drove my '85 pop top Weekender home from Newport News VA. yesterday and it was LOADED with all the stuff from daughter's college dorm room. '85 automatic, a/c not working so windows were down (increasing drag) and a bike strapped to the roof. I got just over 18 mpg, which I consider normal for a van this size-and under powered-still have the stock 1.9 w/ 146K on it.
