Being that I don't have a Bell-housing, with this stand can I bolt the plate onto the engine without removing the flywheel?

Even though the makes it easier, the floor does work too right? Or are there fasteners I'll have a lot of trouble getting access to? I don't mind doing work sitting on the ground as long as it is reasonably feasible.
