On the 2.1l the ECU power relay and the entire engine harness are
among the things that are powered from the alternator B+ terminal
(and the battery through the charging connection to the starter).  If
the smaller of the two B+ wires is broken or doesn't have connection
at the alternator she ain't gonna start.
