This is a rather unique van, and a very interesting couple. It's a
Syncro-16" custom camper with a mechanical TDI 1Z/AHU code engine. It's
gonna take someone knowledgeable about diesel Vanagon/T3s to help. Severely
overheated and made 'strange noises', from what I understand, and prior to
that had been using a lot of oil - so likely needs an engine. Detlev in
Livermore is where they had intended to head next, but now they're stuck in
Moab, dead in the water. Any ideas or leads, please send em a note: Rainer
