Yes, 'but ' .... bolt pattern is the same, but the wheel reaches in significantly further than a vanagon wheel.

in the rear, the right thing would be longer studs.. and ..there is a very nice spacer, usually used with mercedes wheels.. call a 5 X 112 hub-centric spacer. They come in like 12mm thickness.

in the front ...likely a thinner spacer might be needed. ....and maybe longer wheel mounting bolts ( this is a 2WD vanagon I assume ) and sometimes a tiny bit of material is removed from the upright/spindle for clearance.

that tire size.. 'nigh perfect' for a 15 incher. When I bought a dead 93 EV 5-speed MV Poptop it had 4 Michelin Agilles 205/65 R 15's .. those are demon good tires .. mainly for highway and rain, not snow .. but man does a vanagon track nicely down the road with those tires on it. They cost at least $ 150 each and are not that easy to find sometimes.

I 'was' going to see about putting my 15 inch steel eurovan tires on one of my vanagons ... since I have alloys that ft the EV perfectly ( audi 5000, 15 inch ) .. but decided it was a bit of a bother.
