Wondering if engine was original was only part of my curiosity. Just didn't think to include it in my original post.

PO said this Westy has 136K km's ( ~ 85,000 miles ). There's no receipts for regular maintenance; oil changes, coolant flush/replace, tires, (they are near new) etc. I don't know why. Regardless, all this made me question if stated mileage was true. I think it may very well be.

Assuming it only has low miles, maybe the harness just didn't see that much wear and tear from engine heat etc. But. Each of the wires to all fuel injectors are white. For a 1988 Vanagon, Bentley shows Red/White and White wires.

No big deal. I'm *thrilled* as I think this is truly a low mileage vehicle. Just curious and doing my best to determine if mileage accurate.

I had a quick look at the top of heads today. Didn't see any "AMC" markings but will look further.

Re: oil pressure. VanCafe has a neat oil pressure gauge kit. I think that will be one of my next purchases!
