I gave this idea thought when I had my '84 because it seemed to make sense, but I think it only makes sense when the van is not moving. Reverse the windows and rain will probably be driven between the panes into the van. The gap might even whistle. I'd welcome your testing this theory though . . . The jalousie windows my '68 had were the best solution. Oh well.
