Today we fit 5 brandy-new Hankook RA08s, and whilst I was up underneath with the spare tire carrier opened, I repaired my floppy passenger side air dam. Two nuts had come unwelded, so I cut off the screw heads, drilled new holes adjacent to the original mounting points, and refastened the piece using washered sheet metal screws. BTW, you can still read a realtor's partial telephone number on the sheet of stick into the ground plastic sign material that serves as a lower air duct between the grille & rad. (bottom piece, parallel to the road) I fashioned it a few years ago and can vouch for its tenacity. Geo/ATL (still wiping grit out of eyes) e |
