Now the brake pedal pulsates when I apply the brakes. The only thing I can think of that would cause this is out of round drums. Can anyone think of anything else that would cause this? ------------ Steven, The previous posts are more salient than my contribution. Cleanliness, roundness, accuracy and precision are demanded for good braking effects... Brake Drums are pretty heavy, occasionally one gets dropped. Oops! Requires testing on a lath or brake machine for out-of-roundness following a drop. FWIW... Last two Beck-Arnley Drums tested on a brake-lath... so out of round and warped... No wonder the Brake-Pedal pulsated under my foot... Returned for a refund. Replaced with a German OEM... Brembo has usually been a trusted manufacturer. Clean, center, re-install and test? Good luck.. Pz On a rock off the West Coast |
