I don't know if this applies to the leak on your bus, but I found that fitting the old style large OD fill pipe was a challenge. My first time at the job saw the O-ring at tank filler hole last a while but then leak. AFAIK, there were two factors that caused this leak:

- slightly misaligned install of fill tube + related parts by me - and/or poor alignment of the tank fill hole to hole in frame.

Some images and rambling: https://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/GasTank

So far, the seal is ok, but the hole in tank *barely* aligns with hole in frame. I attribute that to the design of the lesser expensive aftermarket Brazilian tank. There's nothing I can see beyond a twisted frame (not likely) that would cause this poor alignment.

Check Bus Depot for the adaptor bushing. Last time I checked they had it. Upgrading to the smaller ID filler tube is something I will do sooner than later.

Neil.
