Subject: Front CV's on a syncro
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

I would like to thank those who gave me tips on how to best proceed with replacing/rebooting my front axles on my syncro. It went surprisingly easy! I would not hesitate to do this job if you have reservations about it. Best of all, Ken Willford at Vanagain once again came through on parts! I called him up at 5pm on a tuesday as he was closing down. He placed my order, and Wed afternoon, my parts were here!!!! That's hard/impossible to beat. Not only that, whenever I call Ken he gives great advice and is a real joy to deal with. I can't suggest him highly enough for you parts needs. Vanagain.com.

The Lobro front outer CV boots are crazy thick, almost plasticy. They're a bit of a struggle to get on, but should last well. I was blessed in that all my front CVs were in good shape and just needed to be repacked. I did build up a spare axle though, just for good measure.

Thanks again to everyone!
