A common problem is not installing the drums properly. They should be a tight fight on the center of the wheel flange. If the hub is cored enough or the drum is not carefully installed the center can get caught and when the wheel is installed the center of the drum will get distorted causing the drum to be off center and getting damaged.

I just installed new Brembo drums and SBS shoes in my 1985 Camper. Now the brake pedal pulsates when I apply the brakes. The only thing I can think of that would cause this is out of round drums. Can anyone think of anything else that would cause this?
