hi ..avx 13 makes me think that is a 13mm wide belt. your van 'had' air conditioning I bet.. and that is an AC belt.

you want an 11 X 1090mm belt.. such as the Gates XL 7430

every stinkin' waterboxer vanagon from 83 to 91 uses that alternator belt. should be real easy to find.

one of my alternator belts has a width designation of 9.5/10 mm ..so it it's that instead of 11mm wide it might be fine too.

Every van should carry that belt as a spare. It can't run without it. Though they do last very, very well normally.
