No, you aren't out of line.  It's ridiculous that the mods have to repeat this endlessly to the same offenders.  I'll add that stuff like the following makes this list, particularly the digests, almost unreadable.  If you wonder why this list is dying while others are thriving, it's stuff like endless tails (3 or 4 pages long sometimes) and stuff like this:
