>> How old is the wife? If under 50, trust me, my friend, you ain't seen >> nothing yet!! (sorry, I know it's not Friday yet) Jeff Stewart - << She's 45 and God bless her can still fits in her wedding dress. :) She's seen and tolerated allot though. She's put up with our current van since she was in her 20's. Her first VW van test was back in '89 when we took our first test drive in our "new" '73 camper with sunroof. The heat did not work and it was a cold April rainy day. I hit the brakes and all the water stored up in the sunroof area (due to blocked drains) came down on her head. She asked if we could go home with her teeth clenched. Our first camping trip in that was a mosquito infested 98 degree day where our camper was parked next to a pavilion where they were playing loud music during the evenings square dancing. She loves the van and she loves camping though. She does need activities though, she rarely attends the group VW campouts that I go to. This coming weekend is hers so we are not doing Westy's in the Woods but will be at the Seashore in Cape May instead. I gotta admit, boogie boarding sounds more fun than sitting in a field at 90 degrees this weekend. ;) Bryan |
