A lot of heat.
I use heat every time I remove these bolts on the first try.
The attachment doesn't come through on the list you need to post the photo
somewhere and give a link.
Used thermostat housings can be pricey because this problem is so common.
If you are sick of trying things you should be able to take it to a machine
shop and get them to remove them for you, it should be cheaper than a used
housing I think.
When reassembling, use a torque wrench and pay attention to the torque
setting for these bolts. It is very small.
