So let's talk about what's working for headers on inline conversions. ABA. x-flow head. 50 degree. Stock twin downpipe manifold doesn't foul motor mount but it's uncomfortably close. So besides Don Hanson (who's sent me a ton of pictures), who's had some success in building an exhaust system that didn't require frequent crack repair? Suggestion has been made that there might be a suitable single pipe manifold. Fox? By my calc's we need about a 2.25" dia pipe to equal the flow of the twin. Muffler is going to be mounted as diesel-vanagon. Pointer toward pictures would be outstanding! Alistair, do you have pics of Frank G's system? As always, Thanks in advance Jim |
