One of the coolest "bolt-on" performance improvements for the WBX I've seen, was the Samba van with the complete engine management from a Volvo 740 Turbo, along with the turbo itself, of course. Set the boost at a responsible max pressure and "gauge-up" for insurance. Locating the knock sensor suitably might be the trickiest part of that whole operation. Way cool
