Seems pricey. What do you get for a "rebuilt" 2.2? Definitions vary by shop.

Autobahn Society in , GA does turnkey conversions with ABA block (2.0) VW motors for about half of that amount. Even if you don't get a rebuilt VW ABA motor, they are cheap enough to replace when tired.
