I think Go Westy sells stainless luggage rack loop replacements (footman loops). I sourced a slightly different shaped footman loop from local West Marine. Higher, but easier to attach things to.

PS power door lock issues can be traced to either broken wires in harness where they go through rubber shroud at driver's side door, or the drivers side door power lock mech. itself - water gets in and makes mess of the internal contacts
