And I should add that opening the front heater core valve helped bring down the coolant temp. Likely an indicator of a suspect rad. I see a coolant flush + rad replacement sooner than later. Heck. Maybe now. As anticipated, snapped a bolt on thermostat housing. "Easy Out" stuck in remainder. Dang.
