Subject: Window Seals-Vendor Comments Please!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

OK, just finished my SECOND attempt at reinstalling the slider window in my '85 Weekender. The last seal started tearing 6 inches into the install. This one got quite a bit further before it started to tear, but tear it did. It is luckily not torn enough that it won't hold the window in, but once again I ain't real happy. Now I know this is a metal framed window, but I have other seals I want to replace (some I already have) but I am a little dubious of the quality now. This seal tore at 2 corners, plus at the seam. I have replaced mucho bus glass over the years, and I have never had this much trouble with a seal. BTW, Go Westy! did send me a replacement seal at NC, but like I said, this one tore too. Are the replacement seals just crap now?
