So, I am sitting here in my office looking out the windows at the grey
sky....I'm having a hard time focusing on work today because in just 2 days
we will be on our way to West Olive, MI to attend the 10th annual Buses by
the Beach Bus Benefit!!!!!

I'm sure many of you know by reading my posts through the years how much we
enjoy Buses by the Beach events - but this year is something different for
us. I'm not one to complain - life is always good - but this past year or
so has been a tough one for Patty and I both - Professionally, Emotionally,
and Mechanically. Last year we didn't make too many events or even
non-event trips. We very much miss our bus family and have been feeling
very disconnected from it all.

So again we are soooo looking forward to great friends, buses, music,
raffle, beer, food, and conversation!!!!!! We will be heading out on Friday
(hopefully early) and making our Coast to Coast trip - Starting at
Lakeshore Rd. in Lexington, MI (on the shore of Lake Huron) and ending at
Lakeshore Drive in West Olive, MI (on the shores of Lake Michigan). Taking
the two lane all the way and enjoying every minute of the journey.

This trip will be a bit of a reclaiming of my Busdom - or my Bus-Soul if
you wish. I can't wait to see you all - and for those of you on this list
who won't be there - you're missing out and thanks for indulging in my
lengthy monologue.
