I agree - it could be nothing more than part a selection out of a misleading
distributor parts catalog by the vendor. And if this is the case, they and
everyone else who buys from the distributor needs to be aware.

If it's a list vendor, they would want to know--hopefully any vendor would
want to know--might be a good idea to mail them privately, could be another
way (in addition to warning us, I mean) to save someone else the same hassle
you're going through.
