Surely you can keep that rig going at least as long as a Vanagon! There will always be super duty pick-ups, American manufacturers are masters of massively powerful engines, unlike Europeans who demand high fuel mileage.

im just wondering what im going to use to pull my car trailer in the years to come...

(currently its a '95 E350 club wagon with the 7.3 powerstroke turbo diesel...) im skeptical the Transit has as much torque or payload as my ford econoline... :(
