Thanks for the warning. Had seen your post in the archives about that.

I was curious of any differences between headlight switches:

251.941.531B and 251.941.531M e.g. is switch with "M" suffix able to handle more amps?

I have a spare 251.941.531B switch from an early model Vanagon and thought it might be ok as a spare on my '88. (I would compare PN's and pin 1 location)

The description in this Van Cafe page shows the two older switches I'm curious about:
