Subject: 86 GL with Black Interior
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

It kills me to do this but I am planning on selling my trusty 86 Flash Silver GL as I don't have space or funds for three vehicles. After owning a 79 Transporter (Santa Bus cause it was red white and cold in winter) , 84 Vanagon GL (Jackson cause it was Brown) and now Rexmobile (it was really my dog Rex's van) ---- so after having a vanagon continuous since 1988 I finally got my Dream Car --a 87 Westy. I named it Sky cause the Dove Blue looks like the sky.

So one has to go and it is the 86. As much as I love the Van and modified it to be a camp mobile as much as possibile I will say I love the pop up and look forward to camping in it.

The question I have is I was told once that black interior is pretty rare. The archives pointed that out in past discussions. I personally love it and will miss the black and silver combo. Does anyone have any thoughts to any added value the interior might have before I start marketing on either craigs list, samba or ebay? I have started a photo collection for your all inspection. More images and a video of it starting and running are to follow - as with details.

Enjoy the black in these images and let me know any thoughts.

Kurt
