I have my new used tube ready to go in and I have a question.  Take a look at http://www.feddishbasses.com/fillerTube.html . Does that end piece come off or does that come up from behind the hole in the van? If if does come off,  what is the best way to get it off without breaking it.

The second picture down is the “floaty ball” that some people were asking about.
