I'm not sure about a Dove Blue van :-) but on my dark blue van's I have used one of those hacksaw blade handles that holds the blade so that it sticks out the end. I could cut the bottom center strip of plastic off the cover while it was in place and then the cover would come out. No seat removal needed. I might have removed the wooden (?) kick panel. Larry A.
