So, I thought the radio on a Vanagon remained on, if the radio switch is on, key in, key out, key on, key not on. Not so? Mine does. I have to turn the radio switch off or it keeps playing. Does this mean that someone modified it? I always make sure to keep the radio off when the vehicle is not being driven. I keep it off most of the time when I am driving it, for that matter. mcneely ---- David Beierl <dbeierl@ATTGLOBAL.NET> wrote: > At 01:32 PM 5/30/2012, David_Vickery wrote: > >one of the nice mods people do is to wire the radio to the key-in > >position. that way radio will work w/o the engine running but won't > >drain the battery when van is parked.
