Hi Jon,

I can't say whether you should or not but can offer some things I thought about.

The X3 was fairly expensive for something I felt I wouldn't use very much. From the research I'd done it was more for "tuners", those people who are always looking to get the most power/fuel economy/etc. from their ECU.

For the "normal" masses, those who just want a solid, reliable engine without a penchant for perfectionism then the CPU as programmed by Bostig seems like a good way to go. At least for me.

There's one scenario where I thought that it would be nice to have. That's if something wasn't quite right with the setup Bostig has programmed and it would need to be tweaked to work properly for me.

Having the X3 means they could just send me a new set of instructions to upload to the ECU, as opposed to me having to pull the ECU and send it to them for reprogramming.

Hope this helps, Harry
