It's closer than Seattle (but probably nowhere near where you want to be) but you'd be welcome to pull up in my driveway in Texas and we'd work through it together. I'll be putting a Bostig in my '89 this summer, and would love to have an extra pair of hands and eyes while I go through it myself. Plus, I'd daresay that after a Bostig install, you wouldn't be able to claim you're not "mechanically inclined."

Personally, the fact that the Bostig conversion is designed with the DIY'er in mind is part of what sold me. I am relatively mechanically inclined, and probably could put in a TDI (which is what I would love). But because there's no kit for it, I'd be doing a lot of figgerin' it out myself, which is not something I want to do. So the Bostig does all the mental legwork for me, and all I have to do is buy the parts and turn a wrench.
