Folks,

I have been on this list for 12 years, which coincides with the purchase of
my first Westfalia, a 1985 Wolfsburg edition Westfalia, "Camel".  I bought
my second Westfalia, "Hershey", in 2004.  With the help of the list I have
nursed, maintained, babied, polished and upgraded Hershey from a dog heap
to the fine, fast cruising machine in is today.  I have learned a lot about
Vanagons from the list, but the most valuable lesson I learned here has
nothing to do with vehicles.

As it stands now, Hershey will be up for sale in the near future.  It feels
strange to admit that one day soon I will no longer own what has been a
part of my and my family's life for 12 years.  I will be moving onto
something much older and much slower, but still very VW and very
Transporter, and I will be making new memories.

It is unlikely that anyone on the list would be interested in purchasing
Hershey, since all of you are Vanagon owners, but if you are, feel free to
