If everyone had to read in digest mode for a week every so often, the world would be a better place. Read in digest mode and 1) you'll see all the "I agree" messages with the original and so you won't do that. 2) you'll see how several have answered a question already, so you will just let it go. You won't post unless you have something to add. 3) you'll see how long a message gets as folks reply and don't trim. You'll be sick of Scott's messages after n replies. The archives must be 90% quotes of quotes of.... So you will trim your replies to include only the part you are responding to. 4) you'll see all the useless chatter where question after question is asked by a rodent instead of just *thinking* a second in private about whatever is passing through the mind. So you won't do that, either. Yes, having to read in digest mode would be good.
