My experience: The shims on the bottom of the drive slid out of place.
You'll need to pull the drive all the way out, get a magnet and suck the
shims out of the hole.  Turn the crank back to TDC, stick the shims onto the
drive with some heavy grease and put it back in the correct position.

shaft gears while the pulley was 90 degrees ATDC. Maybe I didn't wiggle it
enough? Or maybe there's a reason it wouldn't drop?
