hey people.

am on smart phone so searching is slow. At work so thought I'd post my
thought before i forgot it. Forgive me if this has been asked.

There is conductive paste between the cooling unit and cold tube. In
past, workng on the assumption that the OEM paste was dried up, have
used computer CPU heat sink paste to replace the OEM paste.

If one applied this paste, noted where voids of poor or no contact
were, but used a layer or two of tinfoil at those spots instead of
paste would the tinfoil be a better conductor?

I imagine there's a risk that the tinfoil would raise the cooling away
from the cold tube but one were careful .....
