Sounded like a great idea. Went outside and just realized OXS light is not turning on. Perhaps that is related to the non-working check engine light. I put a test lead on the CEL and got no power.

I'll take the cluster out tomorrow and replace the bulb for OXS light and see if that fixes THAT problem.

The thing that makes the rest so did difficult is because I have no idea what the DPO did. He has a toggle switch supposedly to turn the check engine light on/off at will. That switch tested OK. The CEL bulb tested fine when powered. To further complicate this, the original cluster had the large analog clock. He replaced it with the factory tach from an '85. Everything worked until this recent 'no CEL' issue. Everything else on the cluster still works except now the OXS light also.
