Glad it worked out. Did you wire a switch away from pump to turn it on for back flushing? While doing the fuel hoses to/from pump, had pause to look into the fuel pump on my new Westy. *Looked* clean, but maybe I too should have back flushed it. (this van may have sat a while) My mostly uneducated guess is that the pump with the broken nipple is "toast". There's a fair amount of pressure on that side. Couple that up with vibrations and my guess is that any fix, even say a part threaded and "glued" into the hole, would not be reliable. Neil.
