I would suggest running this tire in sets of 4. On the rear only the van may tend to over steer since in most situations the front will have more traction than the rear. Do note that this is "All Terrain", not a snow or winter tire. While the tread will help push or dig through snow it does not provide the steering or handling in snow of a true winter performance tire. In larger sizes this tire is known to work very well on the Vanagon.

Also note that many states are now requiring snow (winter) tires be used on all 4's.

In the List's infinite wisdom, is it nonsense to run BFG AT;s 195 75 14 rear tires and Hankook 195R14 front tires at the same time? This is on a 2WD van, BFG AT's rear as snow tires. Diameter for the Hankook is 26.3 inches revs/mile 790, the BFG is 25.5inch diameter and 815 revs/mile. Just wondering since there don't seem to be any snow tires available for our rigs in 14inch. Thanks Rick
