The entire 1.9 exhaust will bolt onto the 2.1 engine just fine. There will be no room to keep the 2.1 oil cooler / heat exchanger though. .. And, if you are using a 1.9 cooling system you probably don't figure to be running a 2.1 type oil cooler/heat exchanger anyway.

Though having one is a great upgrade to a 2.1 in a 1.9 cooling system. Don't forget to use your 1.9 crankshaft pulley on the 2.1 block to match your 1.9 Digijet Distributor .

I would not run the 1.9 exhaust on a 2.1 myself, at least not long term. The 2.1 exhaust system is twice as good at least. If you do want to do that, don't forget to get a 2.1 rear engine cradle thing ..where the 4 rubber mounts are - that aluminum piece is what the far better and twin 2.1 muffler mount brackets bolt to.

run the 2.1 throttle body, plenum, and intake runners too, with your Digijet system Upgrade to heated oxygen sensor and even the 2.1 breather heater if you want to. Make a just great vanogon waterboxer engine system , nice mix of Digijet and Digifant parts.
