I'm about to head off on a 3 week assignment in my camper and found this morning that I have a bad case of this dreaded vanagon disease, as seen in David's gallery of a while back: https://picasaweb.google.com/117189706757545167023/VanagonPopTopHingeTroubles

I've seem suggestions for how to get it cured, I don't have the tools/machines available to make the cure happen. Is there anyone near TO who has done this and would have the time to help out before Wed? Failing that, does anyone have the assembly that they would be prepared to part with?

I'd hate to think I'll have to keep the top down for the entire trip!
