Tire Rack has OK'd them for my Syncro as long as I keep them at 42 PSI!

Correction on the last post, these tires are 96S tires, so not as suitable as I thought.

Thanks to all who provided much good advice on this topic. And then just this past weekend, I was out and about and lo and behold there in a state park was an Orly blue Carat with winter tires on it. Turns out they were Firestone Winterforce 215 70 14, 98S, so good to go on our vehicles. Rick

In the List's infinite wisdom, is it nonsense to run BFG AT;s 195 75 14 rear tires and Hankook 195R14 front tires at the same time? This is on a 2WD van, BFG AT's rear as snow tires. Diameter for the Hankook is 26.3 inches revs/mile 790, the BFG is 25.5inch diameter and 815 revs/mile. Just wondering since there don't seem to be any snow tires available for our rigs in 14inch. Thanks Rick
