I was thinking same. But that's an advanced project. Would need a somewhat fubar'd TB to play with.

Thanks for hints on material to use. I'd be tempted to make brass or bronze (oil impregnated).

Delrin easier to turn? Lasts as long? Did you make a jig or ? to mount TB to tail stock? (e.g. how did you keep or establish a straight line between each shaft hole in TB?)

Maybe all this is in your shufti ! ;)
