Most of you know me by my trips in my Syncro Westy.

Well, before that were many trips in Mr Bus, my '81 air-cooled passenger Vanagon. I got it in January '82 to replace my '76 because I was just tired of being cold after skiing. Someone asked me once in my '76 "when will it get warm back here" and I told them "April!" The '81 has a BA-6--that still works great! It took me 150,000 miles before I got the Syncro Westy in April '01. http://jones.colorado.edu/DV/one.html At the summit of Nebraska, November 1995: http://jones.colorado.edu/nebr.jpg What to do at Chaco Canyon when it rains, 1994: http://jones.colorado.edu/chaco.gif

Today after 30+ years, Mr Bus went to the spa. First wax job. First real interior cleaning. What do you think? (I think Mr Bus is a keeper!)
